This charity has a purpose described as:
1) for the benefit of the public to relieve the distress and suffering of swans, cygnets and other animals of all species in need of care and attention and in particular to provide and maintain a rescue service, hospital and other facilities for the care and treatment of sick and ill treated swans, cygnets and other animals.
2) to further advance the education among the general public on matters concerning the care and protection of swans, cygnets and other animals and to raise awareness to reduce suffering to such animals ＂
